About Us
Welcome to DreamWorks Dance Academy—Where Every Student Matters.
For nearly 20 years, DreamWorks Dance Academy has been honored to serve the Sumter community by providing exceptional dance, acrobatics, and gymnastics instruction in a positive, faith-based environment. Our experienced team of instructors combines decades of professional dance training with outstanding classroom leadership, creating a place where every child is encouraged, challenged, and celebrated.
We believe that dance is about so much more than steps. It is about building confidence, character, discipline, friendships, and a lifelong love for learning. Every student who walks through our doors is known, valued, and given the opportunity to grow at their own pace.
Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our highly trained staff, including instructors certified in USA Gymnastics Safety and Acrobatic Arts. We maintain high standards of instruction while providing a safe, encouraging atmosphere where students can thrive.
At DreamWorks, we proudly uphold a modest costuming and music philosophy that allows families to feel confident in the values we promote. We strive to shine a light of kindness, respect, and integrity while delivering exciting performances that showcase strong technical training and artistic excellence. Our dancers have earned numerous regional championships, high-score awards, and title honors, but our greatest achievement is watching young people grow into confident leaders on and off the stage.
Whether your child is taking their very first class or pursuing advanced competitive training, you'll find a welcoming dance family that is committed to helping every student reach their fullest potential.
Join DreamWorks Dance Academy and experience the difference. Discover award-winning instruction, a caring community, and a place where faith, family, excellence, and creativity come together. We can't wait to welcome you into our DreamWorks family—where every student matters, every dream is encouraged, and every step has purpose.
